Ron J. Sloan

SloanRon J. Sloan provides dynamic coaching and consulting to businesses, organizations and government entities trying to develop innovative programs and services.  In a career spanning over 30 years, Mr. Sloan has significant experience in the senior management of several not for profit as well as for profit institutions.  He has a strong background in leadership and executive coaching, operations, business development, joint venture marketing and development, strategic planning, organizational redesign/reengineering and employee training and development.

Mr. Sloan served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, DC, a U.S. News and World Report top 10 rated pediatric hospital, Mr. Sloan was responsible for the daily operations of this 279 bed tertiary pediatric hospital and the associated Physician Practice Plan.  The combined operations employed 2700 employees and had an operating budget of $400 million annually.

Mr. Sloan has been a frequent speaker and presenter to businesses regarding corporate culture change, coaching employees for change management and high performance, organizational transformation and achieving stability out of chaos.  He has been an Adjunct Professor teaching MBA graduate students classes on Organizational Development, Business Ethics, Marketing and Organizational Psychology.

With an educational background that includes a Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology (MEd.) a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and a Leadership Coaching Certification from Georgetown University, Mr. Sloan is uniquely qualified to help businesses focus on attracting and keeping the type of managers and employees that establish the foundation for GREATNESS!

Mr. Sloan is a member of the International Coaches Federation (ICF) and serves on the Board of Directors for the International Coaches Federation (ICF) Metro DC Chapter.  He is a Steering Committee member for the international organization, Coaches Make A Difference.
