Gordon Silcox
Gordon Silcox is a certified executive coach, consultant and facilitator in executive development and career planning cultures. He has worked with executives and high potentials in health care, financial services, high tech, not-for-profits and communications. In the health care field, he has worked with physicians and clinical professionals, hospital CEO’s, senior human resources executives and administrators.

Earlier, Gordon was Senior Vice President in the Washington, DC office of Manchester, Inc. He opened that office in 1987 and was directly responsible for the growth of the firm’s successful career counseling and leadership coaching practices. He earlier opened and headed the Washington office of an international executive recruiting firm, serving a total of nine years in the field of retained executive search.
Gordon is a past president and a founding director of the Human Resource Leadership Forum, the DC-area affiliate of the international Human Resource Planning Society. For the sixth year, in 2007, he is a member of the panel of expert judges to select AARP’s “Best Employers for Workers Over 50.”

Gordon received his MBA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his A.B. degree in English from Princeton University. A graduate of the Leadership Coaching program at Georgetown University, he is designated as a certified coach by the International Coach Federation. He lives in Fairfax, VA.
