Tom Amatucci

Tom Amatucci is a Career Management Consultant and Organizational Development professional with a dynamic background and extensive experience providing expert consulting, coaching and training services to leaders, managers and staff at all levels. He offers a broad knowledge base developed through exposure to a wide variety of industries, companies, cultures and people.

Since 2006 Tom has been responsible for leading various career transition seminars and workshops to include conducting a professional career search, resume writing, interviewing techniques, negotiating, creating self – marketing crusades and networking initiatives.  He provides one on one coaching with a special emphasis on self – marketing, networking and negotiating utilizing his experience as a sales manager to motivate, excite and champion his candidates.

 

He has guided candidates in developing career decision strategies and designed campaigns in his personal coaching practice. The majority of his candidates specialize in the sales & marketing arena as well as leadership/management.

Tom began his professional career with Danzas, a Swiss global logistics organization, now integrated into the DHL Worldwide network. His entry position was that of a sales representative and progressed to hold various senior sales management positions. Most recently, he was the International Sales Manager and European Global Manager for a Worldwide Supply Chain Logistics provider.

 

During his tenure in the industry he wrote several in house sales manuals on the art of International Sales & the elements of International trade. He developed corporate curriculums and trained over 1000 corporate managers, sales & customer service personnel. In addition Tom was a speaker on both local and National forums on sales, logistics, Supply Chain Management and Homeland Security Issues. Tom traveled extensively throughout Europe and was corporate “subject matter expert” on matters of sales and leadership training. His knowledge in sales and marketing has generated a positive, “can do” focus for his candidates to incorporate into their career searches and personal behaviors during their search campaigns.

 

Tom founded a local non-profit. He spearheads the annual fundraising drive, an All-Women’s 5K road race and training program. The beneficiaries are Maryland hospitals providing direct services to women and their families as they undergo cancer treatment.

Tom is a graduate of Kean University of New Jersey majoring in Education. He has completed graduate studies in Real Estate (obtaining his broker’s license), Business Relations, Personnel Development, Sales Management and Marketing.

He is an avid runner and has completed 11 marathons since age 50. Recently he has completed 2 sprint triathlons. Tom is a RRCA (Road Runner Club of America) Certified Running Coach.

 

He knows, in life as in racing, the journey is long, and requires a solid plan and strategic pacing.
